completed project "x-Markets" for client Deutsche bank. the final sales film incorporated extensive 3d/Live footage compositing. the film was shot in hd for exhibitions and sales/marketing. filming at studio goos, involving 18 models and on-set keying, Tracking.

heidelberg "What boys want". the project involved extensive stock footage research, 1 week edit time and 2 days for post effects and grading. the film also received a sound logo following the strict heidelberg.

Completed internet intro animation for heidelberg priniting manufacturer. the animation features a photorealistic one-shot earth zoom onto the heidelberg drupa 2008 fair exhibition stand. The video will be available after the drupa 2008 exhibition in may.

Completed the video component for the schneider-kreuznach "Eggsactly what you need" campaign.
Production involved the adaptation of the print material and creation of a moving image to slot in line. the aniumated egg landscape includes a originaly composed music track generated by just using words and sounds.

produced an internal motivational film for trust to be shown at the annual sales and marketing event in spain. the entire project was completed with the use of multiangle picture in picture editing. footage was a mix of animation, footage and pictures.

completed duschdas tv commercial 2x 20" + 2x 5" reminder for Agentur wolkenkratzer. the director lars knorrn and nsf(frankfurt) managed to transform these promissing treatments into stunning commercials, brimming with natural light, real people and fresh music. the comercials were produced for tv, germany.

  22. JULY 2007 walser  

started produktion on FTA INFO/PR project for vmi. final program will be relleased on dvd. production service will include full management, concept and stroy development as well as all stages of production until final release.

  05. May 2007 walser  
start concept and production on web-log/forum for a freelance journalist web presence. Production will include concept, design, functionality as well as web integration and dynamic data management.
  12. MARCH 2007 walser  
web design project for german based free journalist group headed up by Mr kuechemann. The service will be used as a creative and critical plattform on journalistic views, reviews and knowledgebase. The launch is scheduled for may 2007.

Production of Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung .NET's first video interview. the film was dedicated to the acclaimed german writer martin walsers 80th birthday with a very personal interview at this residence in baveria. the production concluded with 4x video segments from and with martin walser.

pm/ad for t-systems exhibition fotoshoot in bavaria on location. fotos are an integral part of the cebit exhibtion set. photographs by nina siber. production house is frankfurt based atelier markgraph.

film project for schall&rauch. greenscreen studio Shoot in Frankfurt with direct video feed into the editing system for immediate feedback on the keying quality. the shoot was on time and budget with the final film being used as an exhibition loop.

conceptional work on full production service for the corporate market. the project includes the development of an internal news bulletin for a world wide corporation. the final dvd design and distribution will seemlessly fit into the corporate identity.

the football cup has taken its toll in frankfurt and citizens are waking up to the fact that the daily routine will not be interrupted by singing fans and spontaenous joy. all back to work in this truly historical month - what a great event!

Short vsit to dubai to attend the nautical institute agm meeting. dubai currently features 1/3 of the worlds cranes - and thats eveident everywhere. the entire city is being raised to feature a beautiful skyline. many industry areas aregathred into smaller cities within the city. this includes a media city, maritime city, knowledge city and internet city to name a few. the speed and dedication that is invested into this very ambitious project is baffeling. I look forward to more work related visits to the city of constant sunshine.

successful pitch for pr-film and DVD project for retsch porcelain, arzberg. the project involves full conceptional control from finish to start and incldudes varios production porcess, history and general information wrapped up into an interactive designed dvd for events, exhibitions and clients give-aways.

zoona - the frankfurt based indie band had their first radio interview on sudnay, 2nd of april 20006. the band's founders fitzkaraldo floyd and te'me more hosted the show for 2 hours on radio-X, frankfurt's non-commercial radio station. visit their site at: www.zoona.de.

completed an interactive dvd project for videotel. the dvd will act as an introduction to videotel's new training system - the videotel on demand system. the production took only 6 weeks including the initial outline, script wrtiting, filming and the final post production with dvd authoring.

production co-ordinator for frankfurt film for a european car launch. directed by rsa's Chris Hartwill. the commercial was shot in 5 european locations and involved logistical arrangements between germany's headoffice, spain, protugal, uk and the US. watch this space for further info.

videotel productions has recieved 3x industry awards for their programs on "Navigation in Ice", "Port Secruity" and "Leadership & Management". thanks GOES TO the team and specialists for dedicating their time and enthusiasm for these rather demanding productions.

The Communicator Awards is an international awards competetion that recognises outstanding work in the communication field. Entries are judged by industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry. There were over 3000 entries from throughout the United States and five other countries in the Communicator Awards 2005 competition.

the designs for a new web portal at www.videotel.co.uk were very well received last year. following the presentation and approval, it took the programmers at bigpig a couple of months until the final website has now been launched.

completed a 2x day shoot for new york based media company ardent, filming a corporate dvd project for porsche in stuttgart. benefitting from the competent and enthusiastic crew, we were able to finsih the shoot on time and on budget. Position held: 1st AD.

designed various layouts featuring 22 test Pages for a major overhaul of a medium sized media distribution companies WEBSITE in london. the presentation was animated in flash, simulating html and rollover behaviours. the presentation was a success and the new website, including database content management will follow in the near future.

IAN GUNN'S website has been uploaded for testing, featuring video, protfolio work and stills gallery fused with the common contact, news and curriculum vitae. the domain name is being processed and shall be online for the world web user in the near future.

uploaded the first version of the vMI presentation programme. this program runs via a network browser and as a selfcontained ".exe" file. Incoprorating video, pictures and text, the final small presentation piece is easily modified to fit many occasions and topics. check out the Multimedia projects section for a web link.

picture manipulation and fromatting for videotel'S gmdss project.

preparations for filming of 2x corporate documentaries to be shot in bergen, Norway. The shoot will cover gmdss and freefall lifeboats, essential equipment as used in the offshore sector and merchant marine industry. the filming will include still and animation footage for the interactive gmdss programme and the documentation of a freefall lifeboat launch from a 30m pad. hmd will be assisting as production coordinator and 2nd unit during the 1 week shoot.

Started work on the new web portfolio for st.louis born media createur ian gunn. the new site will feature a html shell with a flash picture navigation tool for project access and browsing. watch this space for more info.

filming on location in mainz went smooth - even managed to get a tan (aka sunburn). the weather couldn't have been more favourable and according to the next days telecine at atlantik in hh, we are looking a brilliant rushes that easily provide enough material for a 20" version.

launched videotel-Training.de website today. the site for videotel marine international was set-up to address the german marine market. it was deliberately decided to refrain from a bulky animation and large flash movie files. the aim was to create a fast loading web presence that offers the relevant information and programmes without any fuss.

still working on www.hmdavies.com new version. this long required update will feature a complete new approach, taking a step back from the sweet but unpractical flash-based website. the new version should become available in mid may 2005. keep your fingers crossed!

new web-site is www.hmdavies.com online. has now reached version 4.0. the layout and design enables faster navigation whithout the loss of functionality and quality.

teamed up with meike walcha to participate at the 2004 48h film festival. the challenge starts with a theme and title on an early sat morning with the goal to deliver a full 5 minute programme on the following monday morning at 9am. we made it and had a good old laugh while at it. thanks to the team - they all worked their little socks off to make it happen. (even managed to have a small catering unit - the most undervalued position on set!)

started work at videotel international as the production manager in charge for all film and video related projects. this quite soon expanded into various other areas including the multimedia editing, storyboarding, picture maipulation and print supervision. as a distribution company that produces their own programmes i was able to be involved in a wide spectrum of media production.

packed my bags and moved to london to commence my media production studies. reflecting on the people, projects and time in general - wouldn't want to miss this for the world. what a great time - london rocks!

tempomedia filmproduktion, frankfur. I started work at tempomedia via a fortunate circumstance while assisting the producer in charge christiane westenberger during a shoot for chio mexicana chips. the pa in charge was called back to the office and i was upgraded to pa and vt operator for the time of the shoot. after the gate was checked i had myself a full time job. guess it pays off to get up at 5am....
  jan 1995    
after sunflowers i moved back into the produktion process at lowe&partners frankfurt. the head of tv, meike rübesam took me under her wings and i was grateful for the opportunity to visit a great number of post produktion facilities and studios during my time as her assistant. i also produced a short radio programme and went through intensive reel2reel and avid editing training while at the frankfurt hq. the biggest project during that time was a commercial for vauxhall tigra with the famous german swimmer franzi van almsik, seeing her submerge into the boiling ny asphalt. fun!
